Happy hour is all about good conversation and catching up, but this social event isn't complete without a refreshing drink, too! We share our favorite craft cocktail recipe with our AUXO c2c Crew:
1) Cut 4-5 thin slices of cucumber
*pro tip - check your local Farmer’s Market first to ensure your products are fresh and to support your local growers!
2) Muddle the cucumbers to release their juices and put in a cocktail shaker with some torn, fresh basil and a splash (1/2 oz) of simple syrup.
*pro tip – cut a few extra slices and soak them in vodka the night before for an extra punch!
3) Add 2oz of vodka (we recommend Spokane-based Dry Fly) and ½ oz of organic, pure lime juice (such as Miami-made Lakewood) along with a handful of ice to your cocktail shaker. Use those strong AUXO muscles and shake vigorously!
4) Pour into your favorite cup (a vintage-AUXO tumbler if you have one), and garnish with additional basil and the soaked cucumber slices.
